Team Gulen: Bjørnar Nygård

Name:
Bjørnar Nygård

Nationality?
Norwegian

How long have you been taking underwater images?
Started with compact in 2004 and changed to DSLR at the end of 2007

What camera are you using?
Nikon D4 / Nauticam housing / Inon Z240, Subtronic Alpha / Nikon 16-35mm, Nikon 105mm Macro, Sigma 15mm Fisheye

Which critter do you want to capture most?
That depends on where we are going to dive, but I hope to find a nice Diminutive goby, Jeffrey's goby or a two spotted clingfish at the housereef.

What techniques do you hope to improve on during the event?
Haven't thought about that, maybe some selective lightning.

Which of the three categories are you most excited about shooting (Nudibranch, invertebrates/fish, wide angle) and why?
That depends on the dive sites, but for the housreef I'll be focusing on nudibranch, invertebrates & fish.

Have you been to Lembeh or Gulen before? If so, what advice can you offer your fellow team members?
Been to Gulen a few times. Look under rocks, empty shells, debris and kelp to name a few, you'll be surprised at what you might find.
